Jawai has one of the world's highest leopard densities, so sightings are very common — especially in the Perwa and Bera zones. Wildlife is never guaranteed, but your odds here are exceptional.
Wear neutral, earth-toned clothing and comfortable shoes, with a light jacket for early mornings. Carry sunglasses, a hat, water and your camera or binoculars.
Yes. Children are welcome and travel in open jeeps with experienced drivers and naturalists. We recommend it for children comfortable sitting through the full drive.
